  Unggas dari Kalimantan Barat Ciri-Ciri Ayam Tukung berasal dari Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia. Ciri khasnya adalah tidak memiliki tulang ekor , sehingga tampak tanpa ekor. Ukuran tubuhnya lebih besar dari burung puyuh, dengan kepala kecil dan jengger berbentuk bunga (pea). Warna bulunya bervariasi: merah, kuning, hitam, coklat, dan putih. Berat ayam jantan dewasa sekitar 1,7–2,5 kg , sedangkan betina 1,2–1,7 kg . Asal-Usul dan Penyebaran Diyakini berasal dari persilangan antara ayam kampung dan ayam hutan lokal (ayam Tabulangking) . Banyak ditemukan di Kabupaten Sambas, Bengkayang, Singkawang, Pontianak, dan Landak , terutama di Kecamatan Mempawah Hulu. Peran dalam Budaya Ayam Tukung sering digunakan dalam upacara adat dan tradisi tertentu .
